- What type of vehicles do you cover?
We cover many types of commercial vehicle including: Goods Carrying Vehicles - vans, lorries, pick ups etc.
Special Vehicles - diggers, cranes, bulldozers etc.
Agricultural and Forestry vehicles - tractors etc.
We do not quote for the following vehicles - break-down trucks , PSV vehicles (e.g. Mini-bus), ambulances, ice cream vans, chip vans, vans/jeeps with seats in rear excluding crew cabs, airport service vehicles used at airport or vehicles for carrying antiques/furniture removals
- Who can drive my vehicle?
The policyholder and any driver named on the Certificate of Insurance provided that person holds a licence to drive the vehicle or is not disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence (subject to the terms and conditions of the policy).
- What is a no-claims bonus?
A no-claims bonus is a discount to reduce your premium in recognition of the years as a policyholder you have been claims free.
- What is an introductory no claims discount?
An introductory no-claims discount is an amount allowed to reduce your premium in recognition of the number of years of consecutive claims free driving as a named driver on another person's policy.
- What is a protected no claims bonus?
If you pay extra to protect your no-claims bonus, you may have one claim in any period of insurance without affecting your no-claims bonus.
- Will all the contents of my vehicle be covered i.e. stereo, shopping etc?
Contents or Personal possessions in your vehicle are not covered under our motor policy. Radio equipment is covered subject to the terms and conditions of the policy.
- What happens if I'm involved in an accident?
- You should notify the Gardai / Police immediately
- Note the insurance details of the Third Party involved.
- Note the names, address and telephone numbers
of any independent witnesses.

- What should I do if I want to make a change to my policy i.e. get another vehicle?
If you wish to make a change to your policy, please contact us on 1890 89 1890(RoI).
- How do I know what my renewal premium will be?
Your Renewal Notice is automatically issued approx. 30 days before your renewal date.
- What happens if I want to cancel my policy?
You may cancel your policy at any time by writing to us and returning the certificate of insurance and insurance disc. When you cancel, you will be charged an administration fee of €50 and a charge for the time your policy was active. If you are paying your premium under any instalment scheme or credit transaction, you will not receive a refund for any deposit or instalment you have already paid. If you cancel your policy following a claim there will be no refund of premium.

- Will the new Stamp Duty changes affect my Insurance premium?
The rate of stamp duty in Ireland is 2% before 1st June 09 and rises to 3% thereafter. Policies commencing before 1st June 09 will include 2% stamp duty and policies starting on or after 1st June 09 will include 3% stamp duty. If you make an amendment to your policy on or after 1st June 09, any additional charge will include stamp duty at 3%. The quote you receive will include the stamp duty rate applicable at the policy start date you provide. However, please be aware that if your quote is for a start date before 1st June 2009 but you amend this to a later date, an additional government levy of 1% will be applied to the price we have quoted to you.
