Loss of Rent & Alternative Accommodation
We will pay the amount of rent you would have received if your home was let or the reasonable cost of renting similar accommodation for the period you cannot live in the home. (see policy booklet)
Fire Brigade charges
We will pay up to €2000 for fire brigade charges as a result of any incident insured by your policy.
24 Hour home emergency helpline
The home emergency helpline puts you in touch with reputable tradesmen (such as a plumber or electrician) in the event of an emergency in your home.
Accidental damage to pipes and cables and glass breakage
We will cover accidental damage to underground pipes and cables you are legally responsible for. We will also cover accidental breakage of fixed glass and sanitary fittings in your home.
Access for repairs
We will pay up to €650 to remove or replace any part of the buildings necessary to repair any fixed domestic water or heating installation where water or oil has escaped.
