Home Insurance Benefits

Our policies include:

• Low claims excess

  If you have to make a claim our claims excess is only €125/£100 (subsidence excess is €750/£500).

• Frozen foods

  We provide cover for the contents of your deep freezer or refrigerator if they are spoilt.

• Money and credit cards

  We provide cover for personal money within the home, held for private purposes.

• TV, audio, video and computer equipment

  We cover loss or damage to television, video, audio and computer equipment.

• Wedding and Christmas gifts.

  We increase contents cover by 10% for these occasions.

• Replacement locks cover

  We provide cover for locks to any outside door of the home if the keys have been stolen from the home.

• Loss of rent and alternative accommodation

  We will pay the amount of rent you would have received if your home was let or the reasonable cost of renting similar accommodation for the period you cannot live in the home. (see policy wording)
